Decrees on the presentation of decorations

Belgrade, February 25, 2013 – President of the Republic of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic issued, on 22 February 2013, Decrees on the presentation of decorations to:

 

  • President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with grand chain, for exceptional merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Russian Federation.

 

  • President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Armenia.

 

  • President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.

 

  • President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Belarus.

 

  • President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and Georgia.

 

 

  • President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

 

  • President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the KyrgyzRepublic.

 

  • President of the Republic of Moldova Nicolae Timofti is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Moldova.

 

  • President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Tajikistan.

 

  • President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhmedow is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and Turkmenistan.

 

  • President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and Ukraine.

 

  • President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov is invested into the Order of the Republic of Serbia, with a ribbon, for merit in the development and consolidation of peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

         

  • Former Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Spain Miguel Angel Moratinos Cuyaube is invested into the Order of the Serbian Flag, first degree, for special merit in the development of international relations and friendship between the peoples of the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Spain.

 

  • Golden medals for merit in public and cultural activity have been presented to:

Fluvio Grimaldi, Italian journalist and Rudolph Becker, German theatre and film actor.

                                  

  • Silver medals for merit in public and cultural activity have been presented to Liliana Kanelli, a reputed Greek journalist and to Franz Weber, a Swiss scientist and ecologist.
