Accreditation for Journalists

The President of the Republic of Serbia and other officials communicate with the public through reports, announcements and interviews as well as at press conferences. Domestic and credentialed correspondents of foreign media in Belgrade are informed promptly, at the latest one day earlier, by fax and e-mail about activities of the President of the Republic which may be followed by the media.

The Press Service of the President of the Republic is responsible for communication with the media and public relations. Communication with the media is carried out by electronic, written and spoken means. Representatives of the media have three fixed telephone lines available during working hours. At the same time, all domestic media and credentialed correspondents of foreign media are given the mobile telephone numbers of employees in the Press Service of the President of the Republic which may be called outside of working hours.

In cases when due to organizational, protocol or other reasons it is not possible for representatives of the media to be present, the Press Service of the President of the Republic delivers video, audio and photographic material to the media on the specific official activities of the President of the Republic.

Recording of the outside or inside of the building of the President of the Republic for the needs of the media or similar is organized in cooperation with the Press Service of the President of the Republic and the Security Service of the President of the Republic and is done by written request.

The Public Relations Advisor considers and processes all received requests after whic, depending on possible problems, the interested party is given an answer.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREDENTIALING

Journalists and following cameramen and photographer teams interested in following the official activities of the President and other officials may be credentialed by the Press Service of the President of the Republic for each individual event, at least one hour before the beginning of the event.

Those wishing to receive credentials must provide the Press Service with information on all members of the media team by fax or e-mail.
Required data: name of media, name and last name of journalist and ID number.
