Congratulations on the occasion of Passover
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić conveyed today congratulations to Rabbi Isak Asiel and the Jewish community in Serbia, on the occasion of the Passover holiday, which reads as follows:
"I cordially congratulate you and all members of the Jewish community in Serbia on the great holiday of Passover.
I want the memory of the deliverance of the Jewish people to be an eternal inspiration and an inexhaustible source of spiritual strength and joy. The spiritual strength and culture of the Jews are built into the foundations of European civilisation and Serbian culture. It unwaveringly testifies to the unbreakable ties of our two peoples, confirmed in the shared sufferings of the twentieth century.
I want you to celebrate Passover with an abundance of spiritual joy and all the good", reads the congratulation of President Vučić.
