Meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, Mubarak Al Dhaheri, who conveyed greetings from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed with an invitation for attendance of the "Sustainability Week 2021" opening to be held at the beginning of next year in Abu Dhabi.

President Vučić, with gratitude and greetings to Sheikh Mohamed, gladly accepted the invitation to participate in that event dedicated to technology and artificial intelligence development and their application in various sectors of economy and other spheres of life.
 
President Vučić congratulated the leadership and citizens of the UAE on the successful organisation of the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 to be opened in Dubai this week. The two interlocutors agreed that this prestigious event is also a confirmation of the high reputation and growing influence of the UAE in the world.
 
President Vučić said he was grateful to Sheikh Mohamed, with whom he has a sincere friendship, for being committed to the development of relations between Serbia and the UAE.
 
On this occasion, President Vučić and Ambassador Al Dhaheri discussed the further development of bilateral relations and potentials for cooperation in various fields, noting that joint projects between Serbia and the UAE significantly contribute to the economic development of our country. President Vučić said he was proud of the progress of the Belgrade Waterfront project, which has become a symbol of the capital.
