Telegram of condolences to the President of the Republic of Lebanon

"Accept my deepest condolences for the loss of life during the catastrophic explosion in Beirut. 

 

We were deeply shaken by the footage of the horrific accident, and in these painful moments, we in Serbia share our grief with our friends in Lebanon. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families of the victims. Our thoughts are with the injured and, convinced that you and the Lebanese state will provide them with all the help and support, I send them wishes for a speedy recovery.

 

Serbia is ready, if necessary and within its capacities, to provide assistance in eliminating the consequences of the Lebanese capital destruction," reads the telegram of President Vučić.
