Telephone conversation with the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić spoke today by phone with the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Dominic Raab, whom he asked to convey his cordial greetings to Prime Minister Boris Johnson and best wishes to continue to lead the British Government with new energy.

President Vučić and Minister Raab discussed the cooperation between the two countries in facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. 
 
Minister Raab thanked President Vučić for his assistance in returning British citizens from Serbia. 
 
President Vučić said that Serbia seeks to establish strategic relations with the United Kingdom that are of particular importance after the country left the European Union.
 
The President and Minister Raab expressed interest in strengthening the economic cooperation of the two countries, as well as cooperation in other areas of common interest.
