Congratulations to Janez Janša on taking up the post of Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić congratulated Janez Janša on taking up the office as Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, which, with the expectation of good cooperation, reads as follows:
"Please accept sincere congratulations on taking up the post of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia, with the best wishes to achieve further progress for your country and prosperity for its citizens.
Serbia is a friend and reliable partner of Slovenia, and I believe that our good political relations will be accompanied by better economic ties, as well as cooperation in all other areas, for the benefit of the citizens of both countries. That is why I hope that the good practice of holding joint sessions of the Government of Serbia and the Government of Slovenia will continue. Serbia appreciates Slovenia's support on our European path, as well as all the efforts we make to preserve regional peace and stability," reads the congratulation of President Vučić.
