Letter to the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić conveyed today a letter of gratitude to the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Issa, which reads as follows:

"Excellency, estimated Secretary-General of the Muslim World League,

It is with high gratitude that I received the news that the Muslim World League - Rabita, as a support to the citizens of the Republic of Serbia for the fight against the spread of coronavirus and infectious disease COVID-19 - allotted generous help of 300 thousand US dollars again, as it did two months ago.

My gratitude is as much higher as this help came unexpectedly. We are privileged because - in the moments of the greatest challenge for the world - you showed concern for Serbia and we will forever uphold the expressed solidarity.

I welcome the activities of the Muslim World League aimed at promotion of tolerance, inter-religious dialogue and respect of human rights. Tradition and culture of different Islamic countries are close to us, and I believe that in the future we will strengthen our cooperation.

Harmony and equality between nations and religions represent the authentic values which Serbia and your organisation sincerely share.

With cordial greetings, please accept, Excellency, assurances of my deepest considerations."
