President Vučić congratulates Ramadan Bayram
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić congratulated Ramadan to Reisu-l-ulema of the Islamic Community of Serbia and the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Serbia. The congratulation reads as follows:
"I cordially congratulate Ramadan Bayram to you and all believers of the Islamic Community, with wishes for every blessing from God and a reward for the efforts and sacrifice during the long Ramadan fast.
In times of severe temptations for the entire human race, in times of illness, fear and anxiety, every person - more and stronger than ever - turns to God, family, neighbours and those human and moral values that we all strive for.
Hence comes a great blessing in the form of forgiveness, solidarity, helping, deep insight that we are all brothers and that only together and unitedly can we achieve everything, win over anything.
Thank you for selflessly helping your neighbours and fellow citizens during the ailment that befell our country, for not forgetting the ones in need, the ill and the poor, for showing in the right way what is the true core of Ramadan fasting and Islam as a religion that fosters the highest of human and moral values.
