President Vučić meets the US President's special envoy for the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština

President Vučić informed the US President's envoy Richard Grenell about the position of Serbia with respect to the dialogue and about the position of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. 

 

President Vučić pointed out the determination of Serbia aimed at resolution of the relations between Belgrade and Priština through dialogue. „A compromise solution observing the interest of stability and the future of the entire region can be achieved through acknowledgement of the legitimate interests of Serbia", concluded President Vučić.  

 

„It is the strong belief of Trump's administration that economic development, job creation for young people and increased commerce opportunities are a key part of ensuring a durable peace. The goal is to bring our partners in Serbia and Kosovo together for a comprehensive solution to resolve points of conflict in the region. Both sides will need to work closely and quickly, with an eye towards the future“, said the special envoy Grenell. 

 

During his stay in Belgrade, special envoy Grenell also met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ana Brnabić.
