Telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić spoke today on the phone with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and briefed him on the talks the delegation of the Republic of Serbia had in Washington and Brussels.
The two interlocutors asserted that the relations between Serbia and Russia are truly friendly. They also reaffirmed their determination to continue work on the realisation of all joint projects, as well as mutual support on the international political stage.
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov told Serbian President Vučić that Russia would always support friendly Serbia. At the same time, President Vučić expressed confidence that the visit of President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to Serbia would be of historical significance and contribute to the improvement of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
