President Vučić attends the opening ceremony of the Paris Peace Forum

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić attended today the opening ceremony of the Paris Peace Forum via a video link, addressed by the President of the Republic of France Emmanuel Macron, the President of the European Council Charles Michel and the IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, as well as other world leaders and heads of international organisations.

In his address, President Vučić pointed out three key points.

"How can we support the pharmaceutical industry across the world to provide the right vaccine as soon as possible? How can we, with mutual solidarity, work to create the best possible health systems to protect COVID-19 patients, as well as all other citizens? The biggest emphasis should be placed on the protection of our economies", stated President Vučić. He added that it is necessary to discuss finding the best economic measures that should be implemented in a responsible and disciplined way because we will experience a severe economic crisis only when the pandemic ends.
