President Vučić in Brussels with the EU special envoy for the dialogue between Belgrade and Priština
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today in Brussels with the EU Special Envoy for the Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajčák. President Vučić pointed out that he expects an invitation for dialogue continuation in mid-May, and added that Belgrade is ready to respond to the invitation and that it will participate in any type of dialogue.
"Serbia will respond to the invitation for dialogue and we will participate in every type of dialogue. We would like it to be constructive and to talk about problems solving," said President Vučić.
President Vučić pointed out that there are many problems, primarily in the field of energy, and that these are the issues that must be promptly resolved due to different interpretations.
"It is important for us to guarantee security and safety for our people, to solve problems. I insisted on fulfilling the obligations from the Brussels Agreement, the Community of Serbian Municipalities, and freedom of movement, flow of goods and services, everything we signed in Washington because it is good for Belgrade, Priština. It is crucial for the progress of everyone in the region," the President said, adding that tomorrow is a very important day when regional relations and the rule of law will be discussed.
President Vučić expressed his belief that Serbia's European path will be accelerated.
"Serbia is doing well, it is taking strong steps, among the fastest in Europe. On the one hand, there are values, on the other hand - a pragmatic policy of preserving ties with all friends. But the most important thing is the economy, economy, economy," said President Vučić.
