Meeting with the Czech Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met today with the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic Radek Vondráček, who came to the official visit to Serbia.

President Vučić informed the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Vondráček about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija and indicated that the deadlock in the dialogue can be overcome only when Priština abolishes the taxes on Serbian goods. He conferred his gratitude to Czechia for its friendly disposition towards Serbia and for its understanding of the Serbian position. 
 
President Vučić emphasised that bilateral relations of the two countries are at a high level and that the recent visit of President Zeman to Serbia as well as the tomorrow's visit of President Vučić to Prague within the Višegrad Group meeting, indicates the intentions of the two countries to intensify their cooperation in all areas. He pointed out that the trade exchange records a significant growth and added that capacities still exists for further development of economic cooperation.  
 
Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Vondráček said that Czechia identifies Serbia as the most important partner in the region and emphasised the determination of the Czech Republik to assist Serbia in the European integration process.
