New Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina presents the Letter of Credence to President Vučić

President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić received today the Letter of Credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina Aida Smajić and wished her welcome. Ambassador Smajić conveyed the greetings of the three Members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency as well as their expectations for the President's official visit.

President Vučić expressed the firm determination of Serbia for good relations with Bosnia and Herzegovina and respect for its integrity. "Serbia wants a peaceful and stable Bosnia and Herzegovina as it signifies the peace and stability in the region", emphasised President Vučić. He said that he will continue to maintain the policy of peace and cooperation in the Western Balkans.
 
President Vučić and Ambassador Smajić agreed that the two countries should continue with their mutual support in the Euro-integration process and in giving the priority to the infrastructure connections and economic cooperation.
 
The two interlocutors discussed the concrete infrastructure projects and announced that in about one month the beginning of construction works on the Belgrade-Sarajevo highway will be ceremonially marked.
